Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the rice and toast, stirring frequently, until it turns golden brown.
- Stir in the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté for 2 minutes until fragrant.

- Let the rice simmer for 18-20 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed.
- Remove from heat and let sit, covered, for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.
