Caramel Macchiato Iced Recipe

  • Author: MARY
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Description

A refreshing and indulgent caramel macchiato iced drink that combines bold espresso, creamy milk, and a touch of sweet caramel drizzle. Perfect for hot days or as an afternoon pick-me-up, this recipe is easy to make and fully customizable to suit your taste!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 shot of espresso (or ½ cup of strong brewed coffee)
  • 1 cup of milk (whole milk, almond milk, oat milk, or soy milk)
  • 12 tablespoons of vanilla syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 12 tablespoons of caramel syrup or caramel drizzle
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Prepare the espresso: Brew a fresh shot of espresso or strong coffee. If you don’t have an espresso machine, you can use a moka pot or French press. Let the espresso cool for a minute.
  2. Fill the glass with ice: Take a tall glass and fill it about three-quarters full with ice cubes.
  3. Add the milk: Pour your chosen milk into the glass, leaving space at the top for the espresso.
  4. Sweeten with vanilla syrup: Stir in 1-2 tablespoons of vanilla syrup, depending on your preferred level of sweetness.
  5. Pour the espresso: Slowly pour the cooled espresso over the milk and ice to create the iconic layered effect.
  6. Drizzle with caramel: Top the drink with 1-2 tablespoons of caramel syrup or drizzle it along the sides of the glass for extra sweetness.
  7. Serve and enjoy: Lightly stir the drink before sipping or serve it as is for a layered coffee experience.

Notes

  • To make the drink lighter, use unsweetened almond milk and sugar-free caramel syrup.
  • For a dessert-like version, top with whipped cream and an extra caramel drizzle.
  • Cold brew concentrate can be used as a substitute for espresso for a smoother flavor.
